goon.gallery is an infinite, pannable wall of video. One person picks what goes on it. That is the entire editorial policy.
Curated, not algorithmic
There is no recommendation engine here, no engagement optimisation and no feed deciding what you should see next. Everything on the wall is here because I saw it somewhere else and liked it — literally. Liking a video is the mechanism: my likes and saves on X, Reddit and Civitai are what the site syncs from.
The upside is a wall with a point of view. The downside is that it has my taste and not yours. That trade is deliberate.
Nothing is hosted here
The site stores links, a little metadata, and a thumbnail pulled from each video’s first frame. The video itself streams from wherever it already lived — X, Civitai, Reddit, Redgifs. Creators keep their work on their own platforms, keep whatever they earn from it, and can remove it at any time; when they do, it disappears from here too.
This is a viewer, not a library. If a link rots, the tile goes away. That happens more than you would think.
No accounts, no tracking, no ads
There is nothing to sign up for. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels, no cookies for visitors, nobody being profiled and no data being sold — because none is collected. You showed up, you look at videos, you leave. That is the whole relationship.
The one thing your browser keeps is a couple of display preferences, stored on your device and never sent anywhere. Details are in the privacy policy, which is short because there is little to describe.
Built for the browser to actually handle
The wall is rendered with WebGPU rather than a page full of video elements, which is why you can throw it around at speed with hundreds of tiles in view. It falls back to WebGL2 where WebGPU is unavailable. Only the handful of clips actually on screen are decoding at any moment.
Suggesting a video
DM @jpspamley on X with a link. That is the whole submission process — no form, no account, no queue to track.
If I like it, I hit like, and the next sync puts it on the wall. If I don’t, I don’t hit like, and nothing happens. There is no appeals process, no second round and no feedback — a video not appearing means exactly one thing, and you are welcome to take it personally.
