Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 September 2026

This policy explains what goon.gallery (the “Service”), operated by the site operator, does with data. The short version: the Service has no visitor accounts, no advertising and no analytics or tracking, and it asks you for nothing.

1. What we collect from visitors

Nothing you provide, because there is nothing to provide — the gallery has no sign-up, no profile and no comment field. We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and we do not build profiles of visitors or sell data to anyone.

Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard request data — IP address, user agent, timestamp and requested URL — in order to serve and protect the site. That is handled under Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

2. Cookies

The public gallery sets no cookies. Cookies are used only in the administrative area, to hold the operator’s own sign-in session for connected platform accounts. They are strictly necessary for that function, are not used for tracking, and are never set for ordinary visitors. Your browser may also store small display preferences locally on your device; that data stays on your device and is never transmitted.

3. Connected platform accounts

The operator may connect their own accounts on third-party platforms so the Service can read content already associated with them — for example saved or liked posts. Where this happens:

  • access is granted through that platform’s own authorisation flow;
  • only read permissions are requested;
  • the resulting tokens are stored as encrypted deployment secrets, never in the page;
  • access can be revoked at any time from the platform’s app settings.

These are the operator’s own accounts. The Service does not connect to, or read data from, accounts belonging to visitors.

4. What we store

The Service stores metadata about publicly posted videos — links, titles, author handles, dimensions, timestamps — together with thumbnail images generated from the first frames of those videos. This is content published on third-party platforms, indexed so it can be browsed. No personal data about visitors is stored.

5. Third-party media

Video and images are streamed from the platforms that host them. Loading a page therefore causes requests to those platforms, which will see your IP address and apply their own privacy policies. Some requests are routed through the Service to satisfy browser security rules, which incidentally hides your address from the upstream host; this is a technical side effect and not a privacy guarantee.

6. Retention

Indexed metadata and thumbnails are kept while an item remains in the gallery and are deleted when it is removed. Hosting logs are retained by the provider under its own schedule.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or erase personal data held about you, or to object to its processing. Because the Service holds no visitor accounts and no visitor personal data, there is normally nothing to act on — but if you believe we hold data about you, contact contact@goon.gallery and we will respond.

8. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. See the age restriction in the Terms of Service.

9. Changes

This policy may be updated; the date at the top reflects the most recent change.

10. Contact

Privacy questions, or requests to remove indexed content: contact@goon.gallery. The operator is based in the United States.
